b) das eigene Land im Hinblick auf seine Regierung, seine Bewohner:
die Reaktionen des In- u. Auslandes.
2. das Innere eines Landes im Gegensatz zum Küstengebiet, zur Küste; Binnenland:
das Klima ist im I. meist milder.

bei jedem Staat das Gebiet innerhalb seiner Grenzen. Für einzelne Materien (z. B. Steuerrecht, Außenwirtschaftsrecht) ist der Begriff des Inlands gesetzlich besonders umrissen (vergleiche Geltungsbereich des Strafrechts).
